Western countries expel Russian diplomats

2021-04-28

Over the past few weeks, the United States, Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia have refused to work with Russian diplomatic missions. Romania has declared the deputy military attaché of Russia persona non grata. In turn, Russia took the same actions in relation to the military attaché at the Italian embassy. In addition, a meeting “on the Russian issue” is planned with the participation of the heads of governments of the Visegrad Group (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary). The international situation is heating up.

An explosion at an ammunition depot in Vrbetice (Czech Republic) in 2014

The diplomatic crisis in relations between Russia and the Czech Republic is considered the most serious on today’s agenda. The explosion of the ammunition depots in Vrbetica allows Western partners to accuse the Russian special services of being involved.

“Someone decided that there were no versions other than Russia’s fault”, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a meeting with his Honduran colleague Lisandro Rosales Banegas.

The US State Department expressed its position on Russia’s “destabilizing actions” in the Euro-Atlantic region. Hegemon intends to “demonstrate full support for the Czech Republic”.

On the diplomatic field, Russia intends to “return the favor” to its Western partners. The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that as a countermeasure they will expel American diplomatic missions “in an amount commensurate with the action carried out by the American authorities against Russian diplomats”.

Against this background, the mobilization of the Russian armed forces is taking place. On April 26, President of the country Vladimir Putin signed a decree calling on the reservists for military training. On the same day, the Ministry of Defense reported on the successful testing of a new anti-missile defense system.

Since the beginning of April, military exercises have been held in the Crimea in the air, on land and at sea. Because of the “tension on the Russian-Ukrainian border”, the United States raised the U2 reconnaissance aircraft. The author of the article believes that the presence of the aircraft is “a warning to Moscow.” There is also evidence of the escort of two Tu-142 aircraft by American F / A-18 carrier-based fighters. The incident was recorded in mid-April over the Pacific Ocean.

Definitely, the relationship between Russia and the West is going through another crisis. Politics is a continuation of the economy, and in this regard, there is no doubt that the question concerns the economic consequences of the decisions made – increased protectionism on the part of the United States and Europe, a mutual refusal to cooperate in a number of areas on the part of Russia. The opposing sides are actively looking for allies, and one of the significant reasons allowing Russia not to shy away from provocations on the borders of Western countries is the support of Chinese capital.

War is possible. Capital is again ready to unleash a global conflict with its own hands. But the Abramovichs and Zuckerbergs will not be on the battlefield, they will dump it on you and me.
